Individuality and originality are both extremely important traits in a hip-hop artist, sadly also, as hip-hop has evolved into a multi-billion dollar corporate business over time, much of the individuality and originality gets lost in the shuffle of the powerful executive shot-callers looking for the next big thing in what has become a revolving door copycat industry.
